Counseling in the Virtual World: This webinar is being presented by Project DelAWARE (a DOE, DSCYF, and DE-PBS partnership). Presenters, Sandra Syglowski (Project DelAWARE/DSCYF) and Kiera McGillivray (Children & Families First) will be providing support to school counselors and psychologists by sharing practical ideas and easy-to-implement strategies to maximize skills while building and maintaining relationships with students in both the individual and group setting.

FBA to BIP for Educators: (10/20 & 10/27/20) This webinar is for those who want to learn more about the process of using a function based approach to develop behavioral intervention plans. Participants will review principles of behavior and the role of function based thinking across all tiers of support. The steps for conducting an FBA will be reviewed along with the critical components of function based BIPs. Participants will explore how to identify students that need an FBA/BIP, and the role of the problem solving team in the process.

Virtual Crisis Response Webinar: (5/5/20) This webinar highlights best practice ideas and advice for virtual crisis response, along with an opportunity to connect with others across the state. Two local educators present on best practices to identify and support students in need during the COVID-19 crisis.

Behavioral Consultation & Intervention Planning with Families: (6/17/20) This webinar, from special guest presenter: Dr. Rose Iovannone, highlights information about universal parenting practices including ways to implement and individualize these for families.

Using MTSS to Keep SEL a Priority When Reopening Schools: (6/25/20) This webinar hosted by the DE-PBS project with guest presenter, Adriane Simpson, walks through the “CASEL Initial Guide to Leveraging the Power of SEL as You Prepare to Reopen and Renew Your School Community” and provides insight on centering the planning of reopening schools by utilizing an MTSS framework.

Analysis to Action Series: Universal Screening: (7/8/20) This webinar is hosted by Teri Lawler, an Educational Associate for Trauma Informed Practices and Socio-Emotional Learning at the Delaware Department of Education,  and is part of a series titled:  Analysis to Action Learning Series.  Niki Kendall, a DE-PBS Project Coach, will share answers to ten commonly asked questions about universal socio-emotional and behavioral health screening and lessons learned through coaching and collaborating with districts to install universal screening tools through the Project DelAWARE grant and State level Universal Screening Committee.
